Another day, another painting

My husband’s grandson JAM came for a visit yesterday afternoon since his mom had to work, so I didn’t think I’d have the time or energy to work on painting. And maybe it’s because I was tired that I actually finished this little painting in two hours. I’m not saying it’s a masterpiece or anything but I do know that by the time it makes it to the donation bin I’ll have enough shitty little paintings for my own section at the Goodwill store. Ha!

It’s been so rainy here but I’m not complaining. Especially knowing that so many parts of the world are in serious drought or frozen over. I’m grateful to be in this beautiful part of the world.

I’m glad I got to spend some time painting in my studio. It makes me feel like I have a place of my own. A room of my own, like Virginia Woolf said.  I can only do right now, what I can do right now. One day at a time.
